A Game-Changing Asphalt Additive

ARA is manufactured by the Japanese corporation TAC, sold by TAKIGAMI Steel Construction Co. LTD., and EXCLUSIVELY DISTRIBUTED in the Philippines by Diamond CMX.

As of June 2021, ARA - Anti-Rutting Additive is the only accredited product in its category, having successfully undergone the Product Accreditation Scheme (PAS) pursuant to Department Order No. 189 Series of 2002.

ONLY Diamond CMX is accredited by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) to supply ARA to contractors. On 02 February 2021, the DPWH has issued a MEMORANDUM reminding concerned offices about the prohibition on the use of NON-accredited products and suppliers.

KEY FEATURES

ARA was developed to prevent rutting of Asphalt. It is an additive to the asphalt mixture and it consists of several polymeric materials & multifunctional auxiliary agents. Combined with the asphalt mixture, ARA dramatically improves the bonding strength between the aggregates. ARA also demonstrates excellent flow resistance at a high-temperature range.

BENEFITS


ARA can be can be used in port roads, bridges, and airports. The product can be stored for a long period of time under normal room temperature. ARA can be poured directly into the mixer and it can produce the amount of asphalt mixture necessary to the rutting portion. It is also possible to adjust the rate of its standard content ratio of asphalt mixture.
